SAM sites maps and numbers in North Vietnam

Post by 172ndhamm » 2002-08-11 04:10:00

Snakeman,
You were asking for info regarding sams? I've posted some maps at the url below. From 1967 on, there were about 30 SAM battalions fielding about 100 SAMs at sites which were iregularly moved about. With 4 to 6 SA-2s per site, that's about 16 to 25 active sites at any time. checkout the maps, see if that's what you were asking for...

It baffles me why I cannot access your web site. No matter how do I paste the links and images... nothing is showing.

Could you email me the stuff?

you betcha. I've also got a 1:1,800,000 map of north vietnam, laos, and thailand that stretches from the Chinese border to the dmz. It's damn near 36 megabytes in size, even as a jpg. I was able to compress it down to 4 megs, but it lost a lot of resolution. if you want i can burn it to cd and snail mail???

btw, Can you get my isp's homepage? www.icrossroads.com ????
