I don't know if you guys have spotted this yet, but Project 85 by Vilas is a really nice mod and it is based only 15 years after the Vietnam war.

A lot of the vehicles carry over, and while the US uniforms have all changed from olive drab to the BDU, many of the infantry weapons and gear are still the same.

Over-all it's a well done series of models and it is definitely worth a look.

Most of the Armored vehicles he did. M113 APC, M109, LAV 100 and 150, M60A3 Patton, well modeled Jeeps, the AH1 Cobra is well done as well.

You also have the late-vietnam era gear like Alice packs, and LBVs. There are also some other really nice models like the Jet pilot and crew chief. His jet pilot model is just awesome. It's very nice work, it is worth a look over.
