Hello,
we were asking ourselves, if the quality of our VTE mod is increasing
and if there are any issues (Be it Textures, Model is not sophisticated, etc)
that you would like to share with us (with the new stuff), so we can improve.

Re: Get it right: A call for your opinion
As we are working actively on the artillery project, I can bring up example of legendary CoC UA from OFP times. Its M101 from bas was really low quality even for OFP standards, mere placeholder. Every time you stepped bit further out from it or the scene got heavy, it turned out into lower resolution LODs and it was pure lego there. I always chuckled when I saw that, "hi lego M101" but it never bothered me, I was so happy that we had M101 to use.
It is not our goal to have low poly models ingame, its our goal to have Vietnam war presented the most accurately we can, this means we have the realistic coverage of weapons and vehicles. We have time to tweak the low poly models later on for details.
One guy already posted to say that hes really enjoying VTE to see what sort of weaponry and vehicles were used in that war, so it definitely is working in the educating people.

G'Day All,
I was a member of the Australian Army Reserve 1977-80 and trained as a grunt using the same weapons and tactics as were used by the Australian Army in Vietnam. Most of our Cadre staff were Vets so we had the "good oil".
I would like to offer my services to the VTE team..
Few comments which I am sure you have heard already but...
1. Firstly Great Mod! - sure lots of details to polish but otherwise...
2. Uniforms and equipment need work as lots of details incorrect (Only the SAS and the Military advisors attached to the ARVN wore camo uniforms) (SLR L1A1 needs modification) etc...

Any help for Australian historical accuracy would be much appreciated. If you have any specifics, you can open new topic for "Australian research" or something like that.

Re: Get it right: A call for your opinion
Well the UH-1C gunship and ara model is incorrect, instead of UH-1C ingame it shows the UH-1H as a UH-1C with ara and gunship armament....
