Hey-

What information is there out there about how the decals get placed on buildings when they are shot?

I've looked at impactConcrete, and I think there's something to do with bisurf files. But, I know some mods (like SLX) put blood stains on buildings. How does it know where to place the particle/3d model of the stain, and what direction to make it face?

I don't know. I recall there was some bullet hole bug earlier in the engine, where you shot object like aircraft and the bullet holes got stuck in that location even though the aircraft moved off, but I believe that is fixed now.

What are you planning exactly?
