access violation

hi,

i've got a serious problem with wrptool.
when trying to add a texture to the texture browser i'm getting the error : Access violation at address 004C30CD0 in module 'wrptool.exe'. Read of address 000000004...

does anyone know how to fix this?

List your windows version, how did you install WrpTool, the usual stuff? We cannot help if we do not know how you try to run WrpTool there.

Simple answer would be, read the manual, follow the installation instructions and you have no problems. Its all there in WrpTool package.

I just ran into this over the weekend. Which I thought was a error on the WRPtools part until I looked closer. My island would load, with a p3d error for missing p3d's but I could "see" everything I had completed on my island. Tried to lay a forest section out and a similar error as yours occured. Found out I had changed my directory route to the p3d' files. So after correcting the route to them my error messages never returned.
