Sounds like a plan.Good luck would be great to have 175mm and 203mm artillery.
Ive noticed that the t55 and m48 dont seem to do much damage against each other.

There is a reason why the M114 is red now? :?

Because its active work in progress. Red Hot! :)

I need a favor, my google images for some reason wont display any images, I cant use it to find reference photos. It would be great help if someone would find side/front/back reference photos for all those models which are still TODO and do not already have such reference image (to be used for 3d modeling background).

Especially right now it would be great if anyone can find good front/back photos for M108 howitzer.

Uh, real genuine blueprints would be of course golden...

The 108 use the same hull and turret of the 109 right? that should make lot more easier to find reference, please confirm and i'll start searching :P

Unfortunately not suitable for front/rear photos. I've tried to find pictures just by going through google links (no images), its slow.

Basically I look for direct RIGHT side picture (I have left one and I think its linked on the first page), direct FRONT and direct REAR pictures. Right now I can nicely model the outline on left side of the vehicle... but I have no depth reference other than the fact that its 3.2m wide, so it would be bit guess work to model it.

Although dunno if it matters, I'm such newbie on modeling that even with excellent blueprints I could only come up with poop :)

And M108 is not the same, well not exactly same, as M109. I believe there are some differences, the M108 looks more out dated than M109 for starters.

http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/m109-line.gif very shitty and it's early m109 but maybe is useful for some kind of reference.. at least is front rear side

EDIT: there are few photos of actual m108 ( even if you write 108 google find 109s.. ) and none it's exact side, rear or front. :( Check the reference topic in the A2 section, maybe there is something useful in the links

First post updated.

I added details to the M19 and M29 mortar items, but kept the bold TODO status as I'd like to get these models reworked (at least the M29).

First post updated.

The artillery part is almost done, only thing left is to see if we can get the M101 model for VTE and Banana needs to send me the M114 model hes been working on.

Then there is of course the very vague "120mm artillery" which is tricky as we don't even have other reference than such caliber arty was used.

Final thing to mop up is the three mortar models, if necessary. It just might be that we use the current models as placeholders and dunno if I could make anything better for now.

Things looking good :)

The first post is updated now, banana's M114 work in progress status removed as he decided not to reply to my PM's elsewhere or even to login here.

Dunno whats wrong with him.

Also the M101 discussion status removed as I haven't gotten any contact to the author anymore.

First post updated.

M114 is now done. Banana did comeback, sent model to me, I ran it through the usual work flow in Modo and now its in-game. Not very good though with basic green texture etc, but its in-game for further tweaking.

Welcome back Banana and good work with the M114 as usual.
