Been tinkering with WrpTool about the terrains and came up a small list of only few of the objects used from ArmA CA\ uhm dir. For these I would very much like to find suitable replacements on native VTE objects. Okay to start, this is the partial list, remember that there is much much more CA objects used in the various VTE terrains.

For example, VTE has no asphalt, roads, well why would we need them if they are in ArmA already? Well what if in ArmA 2 they are completely removed or changed, anything that ties us to CA\ will handicap our addons when ArmA 2 is released. Yeah I know this isnt such a big problem, users out there arent automatically supposed to run VTE on ArmA 2 the day 1 its released, I'm going to release first version... but in the long run, I think it would be best if we would use CA\ stuff as little as possible.

Hmm dunno if anyone understands what I mean here, or think I'm nuts :roll:

Your right in your thinking m8.

Its fair to say we can use them now but they are something that, where possible we should use a VTE object of similar type ,where possible.

Personally i think Arma2 wont be released in Europe till prolly april next year with the usual release date shuffling. And unfortunately in Australia we prolly wont get it for around 12months after that,like with Arma.So for me i thnik its still a long way off yet.
By the looks of it It will make Arma1 completely obsolete, so i will be switching over as soon is released here in Oz.
