How about new static models Rubbel and Destoroyed buildings.
For some smal Urban combat maby.

Are you talking about "existing" ruined buildings or the destroyed building _ruins models what ArmA launches after a building has been destroyed?

I've seen the FMJ and the city looks pretty cruesome, but I'm still not sure if you mean existing models or after the destroyed effect appearing models.

I mean a new building that is Rubbel but still intact.

Lets say you want to make a city that the US- just droped tons of bombs over. Then the Buildings in ArmA doesnt work. They all look fine.

Lots of buildings that just got bombed and feels like a combat area if u get my point?

Pederson have you seen the Large city in Nam_25klm ?

This area is maybe what you are after.

If not the destruction type of animation you are talking about when a building is destroyed is under development but is a massive undertaking that will push the "limits" of the game not to mention the person/s coding Abilities.

Arma 2 will prolly be the game engine to allow this to happen relatively easily with superb animations at minimal FPS cost.

well I mean a Building that is ALLREADY destroyed.

Not that u fire on a building and it become a new Destroyed building.

Like the the other building allready ingame. But a Destroyed rubbel kind of building.

Okay, well I just added the new big city building objects. They should be all in the prototype 25km terrain, try to look ingame map and for the label city 01 or something like that (dont ask me I just made it hehe!). The city there is not a "city", its just all the new city buildings placed there to be seen. There were not many ruined buildings, but few of them have bit of that FMJ movie look.

Can you find any real life NAM era photos of Hue city or what was the city where they had bad firefights, I think it was Marines in Huey city, right?

Well I checked that city out.

I found 2 or 3 building of what I was looking for.
1 of them looked so good, had really nice worn down texture on it as it should look!!
I got the feeling of a NVA solider might popup in any second out of it!

If you took all those large new buildings and made them full with Shell holes and messed up walls from explosions. And add that kind of worn down texture on them it will look awsome!!
Lets us be abel to Enter them and clear em out.
Good for NVA defensive tactics.

And also we need some piles of debris on the streets to make it really feel like it is a combat zone and not fresh good looking town.

Maby make Static_Object_debris_smal, medium, Large.
Well all kind of debris you can get in you mind.
Some really cool Urban/Jungel style combat would be so damn cool.

Just take a look at the end part of the Movie Fullmetal Jacket and you find what kind of feeling Im trying to explaine.
