Is there a plan to stop destroyed aircraft from bouncing all over the place?

I could do with that being fixed. Right now I have a crash site and the A6 is bouncing everywhere.

ah the A6 is a bit special.. problem is that when destroyed the "land contact" points is higher up then the model itself..

so what actually happens is that it masses hit masses, without "landcontact" being made.. and it starts to bounce.. will add some more points on wings and stuff that won't be use for landing but when crashed.

have to catch the next bus but promise to fix it tonight when I get back..

hopefully we can release a new version soon.. or people can just download from SVN and pbo it (ofcourse that version will be bigger in fileseize and stuff..).

Got some more for ya.

The huey with the grenadelaunchers seems to just fire normal bullets from said launcher. I shoot them but they seems to just ping off the ground rather than actually exploding.

The Vietnamese civilians now seem to be unarmed BIS soldiers for me.

finally, for now, the big experimantal chopper with the cargo hold beneath the cockpit is totally screwed. Check it out, you'll see what i mean.

There are several buildings which give error messages when previewed in the editor. They pop up with an error and don't let you enter the game.

I need to get the TOC bunker working as I need a TOC bunker in my campaign. :(

Having big fun with new version snake!
The new RH weapons and new units looking really nice
However what happenend to Cunégonde(m14) and Simone(m21)? The 2 models have a lot of missing textures ingame. (woohoo strip tease !)
Also, there is no precision difference when firing in a stand,crouch, or proning position, it's a big problem especially for machine guns like m60 or rpd.

I know you mught not have had the time to fix it, but the Skyraider still lacks his animations.

I know this has already been pointed out, but the high grasses are way too high and too many on the islands (cf. Meekong) the VC don't even see us when standing right in front of them, one meter close !

That really kills the game for me.

Great work anyway :)

None of the boats work right. Small VC boat has cargo anim problems, as does the green US on. Also, neither of the turrets can move on the US boats. Also, a muzzle flash bug ruins the gunner seat view.

I didn't check the sampan with the sails.

On a slightly related topic, what .wss editor do you guys use for coding and uncoding .wss files?

I believe its fixed now, this particular plant had no Fire Geometry in the model, and now I added empty one. Hopefully it fixes it. Fixed model committed to SVN.

Thanks for the report NeF, appears that in my excellent thought I removed the fire geometrys from the models in the belief that then it can be shoot through... my new belief is that if there is no fire-geometry, the engine must use normal geometry for fire geometry... no idea, just a thought.

Anyways, off to fix it and to commit into SVN.
