Taiwan Theater v0.3 bug reports

This is Taiwan theater v0.3 bug reports topic. Please discuss only a bugs here, not praise if the theater is good or you're having nice time running it. Also when reporting, check that the bug hasn't been mentioned on this first post already.

--- bugs
- add japanese TDF data, airbases and all.
- taiwan not in theater selection menu.. have to edit theater.lst myself.
- terrain tex compresson exe should be excuted again, manually.
- airbase selection map shows deafult korea
- campaing PAK map, the areas of prioirty are not properly drawn.
- change Ma tsu island and Kimen island to blue side.

--- fixes v0.4
- changed taiwan airbase types (17) according to real life data.

for the sake of realism, change the ownership of Ma tsu island and Kimen island to blue side.

i noted there's no port in taiwan. so i asked for taiwan bmp and locate coordinates for major ports. amnong them, keelung, makung, tsoyang, su-ao, and kaohsung are major naval bases.

This may or may not be a campaign issue:

1. Three flights capping the same piece of sky.

2. See pic, two of those flights literally capping the same piece of sky:

Note that the tandem pairs are one of each ac from one of two flights!

this is what i meant earlier snake man,

so far i only corrected surrounding tiles, elevations and 3d model subtypes of taiwanese airbases as best as i can which i can find any info on.
still most of them are far from anything real due to the lack of airbase models, at least it's better than nothing eh?

Got it. Yeah I frankly dont remember what the specific changes were, its that data CCC provided me and I changed it to the save0.cam objectives, but which bases and so on... cant remember.

Hand tiling, if thats what you did, is not worth it at the moment before we finalize the terrain file and CATE tweaking has been done.

If you fixed alot of that stuff, could you please export the segments, rar them up and email to me?

ditto with tiling, if further cate intervention is required i doubt my current work would stay intact anyway...

what needs to be done with cate exactly here? i wanted to toy with cate for a long time, this maybe my chance :D

Is the bugs list up to date now?

I'm going to start edit the v0.4 release now, so it would be good if all the necessary knowledge would be passed onto me so I know what bugs need to be fixed most urgent and so on.

I dont want to hear after the release "*whine* why didn't you do this *whine*" sort of comments. So speak up! :)

yeah i've posted bugs for a while.. the most wanted thing is a working campaign.

if possible, place some red ground units on taiwan, and get the ground war running.

Just a made a fresh install with v0.3 Snakeman, to take a look.

I didn't notice the problem with theater.lst. It was ok for me.

For the taiwan.tdf, like for ODS and any other, for OF at least, I strongly recommand to define default objects, 3d object and misctex, and not let it behind the #.

I confirm the terrain (campaign) or team (te) selection map problem with OF ui :

Another problem, the Team button is missing in TE (as it is a 64 theater, it is usefull)

Big problem for me. With 0.3 on OF the te_new.tac is empty.
No objects, no airbases.

Terrain tex compression seems ok with OF. Files are there. I didn't test in 3D via campaign.
