Post by Wolf » 2002-08-16 19:28:00

Hey Guys,
I wish to make new UI Panel...and I did them, but...how can I have them only when I choose the theater in which they could be?

and...For the loading Panel I put a Photo, but when the panel is loaded it appears color corrupted! What I must to do?

These are the art1024/resource directory mainbg.idx/.rsc files, I think... Widowmaker is the expert here.

mainbg/idx/rsc is correct
the one in art/resource is for 800*600
the one in art1024/resource is for 1024*768

images need to be 1024*768 8bit(256colors) uncompressed
and flipped (up side down)

Good luck

SP3 has only 1 UI panel
unlike old Falcon4 UI wich had several
so you onlu need mainbg.idx/rsc

the file goes in art1024/resource for korea
for ods got artdesstorm/art1024/resource
etc for other theaters

the splash uses a special paletta
be sure to check out SP3 original
the firsst 2 rows in the paletta are for the first spalh image wich lites up
the first row is the dark version second row is the light version
etc for each spalsh image wich lites up
last 6 remaining paletta rows are for the rest of the image.

rgr don't have this software
but prbably there is something
about paletta or color table.
perhaps under the image or color tab somewhere

try and use the internal helpfunction
of that software using key words
it should lead you somewere
