Is it possible to edit the Airport?
What I mean is to adjust runway orientation, number of runways, parking area etc...in that case which is the best way to do it? :D

We are limited to the runway type, lenght and orientation that were originally included in F4.
Amongst them we can play.
But for the moment, we cannot create new orientation.
There is a project going to lenghten some runways but nothing definite. I believe Chris is working on that.

The airbase list spreadsheet have all real world data regarding airports in all F4 theater. Latest version can be found on that link http://www.candyparty.com/ST/SP/Airbase_list.zip

Hi Wolf

This is an area I intend to start working on once the Balkans theatre is out.

The main obstacle for editing airfields and creating new ones is that there are as many components involved as there are to getting a new aircraft implemented and the tools to edit them are not yet available.

BTW - What I intend to do is setup a small team with an airbase assigned to each person to work on. If you are interested in helping out I'll be posting for volunteers when I'm ready to start.

Later

Chris

PS. If you look at the FED view for an airbase objective in F4Browse you get an idea of what is needed and how they are made up.

Hi Washout!
It's a pleasure listening about your project, but I'm at the begining in theater building and I've not such experience you'd need...
All I can do is to say: GO, GO, GO! WHO DARES WINS!

Meanwhile I'll continue learning about this art.
