Loadout in PCMKorea

Post by Falcas » 2003-03-09 08:47:00

Hello all,

I triedout the PMCKorea campaigns. I must say I'm impressed :D

But the SU-17's don't have any weapons in store... For the mission they have the weapons but you can't change them.
I tried to change the stores with TACedit and foundout that the stores that squadron has are NATO weapons. Changed them to Russian weapons but in the campaign they still don't have any supplies?

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Yes, this is how SP3 was released.

Weapon stores cannot be changed with Tacedit (squadron stores), you must edit the stuff from F4Browse.

Hi Falcas !
SU-39 designation does not exist anymore. It's just a press name. Correct russian designation is Su-25TM. The plane has FLIR and a Phazotron Kopyo-25 radar podded under the fuselage. Search range 25 miles/57 km for fighter size target. Radar is connected to daytime TV for ground target detection, autmatic tracking and homing laserguided missiles. It has a full ECM package and Chaff and Flare + active IR jammer. It can also carry R-27ER AA missiles. It's a bad little bird....

Hello Striker,

It is a mean one :D
I had a flight with it and shot down 2 F-16's and continued the strike. Never heard of an A-10 killing a coulpe of Mig29's....

In the Falcon data base it is still called a SU-39 and you can load them with AA-12.

If you load them in to a campaign, the Stores of the squad is 0, but after upgrading the stores with F4browse you can have a lot of fun... :D

But in Falcon the Su-39 has no A-A radar. You have to shoot the Adders in bore mode.

I think the model needs some adjustments then...

So we need a podded radar for this one. Guess we need one for the Harrier GR9 too.

Hello Striker,

I'm still very green with all this stuff.
Can that all be tweaked with F4browse?

Hello Striker,

Do you have a Manual/document on the SU-25/39 where is writen down what it can carry?
I might tweak the Database for my campaign.

Hey guys concerning the a/c loadouts i have a problem. I have added several squadrons of SU-30M and SU-33 through tacedit. The problem i have is that during the campaign they have no weapns except their Sorbitsua ECM. I have tried to edit their squadron store through f4browse but there are no SU-30M "squadron stores" and neither for the SU-33. So when i find the birds they have no weapons and they are sitting ducks. I have tried using tacedit to modify their stores but it does not work. BTW SU-30Ms get destroyed only by one missile, and I think that is the same for the SU-33s as well. Could someone help me on how I can modify their stores?? Thanks for the help.

maybe you should create new store entries for these birds.

also you can increase its hit point to enhance its survivablitiy.

Rt click, you should be able to copy/duplicate a store entry for new a/c.

A link to some info about the SU-25T. (aka Su-39). http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/row/su-25.htm
Further links at the bottom of that page.

Also info in latest issue of Combat Aircraft with pictures of the Su-25T with A-A missiles. It also seems that the Su-25 has some A-A victories in border skirmishes in the Balkan between the ex-south soviet states.

Hello Butcher,

It should be able with F4Browse very easy.
Just got to the Unit part and select Aircraft.
Then scroll down to the aircraft you want to change. Select the Squadron of this airplane.

Then find the button "Ssd" I think it's called. with this button you go to the stores this airplane carries.

Change what you want and update.

Hello Butcher,
Am not at my own computer now so I can't check.

It could also be that you have to go to Vehicules section instead of the Unit section.

But in one of these sections choose the Squadrons and not the flights.
