Nice, i saw some interesting panels in the cockpit. Many things are converted to english already for the German pilots. They are upgraded so they could join NATO forces

Hmm..the first two shots, the more i look at them, the more i get excited...great shots for Splashscreens (hint, hint, got to get authorization from JG73? Image )

BTW, just curious about the readings on HUD:

270 : airspeed? in Km/hr, or knot?
25000 : altitude, in feet?(more reasonable), or meter?
38 : ? heading? no no more than 36..
Arrow indicates 0.3: target ranged 0.3km?
A : target auto-tracking on?
PA: ? whats that?
(4) at right lower corner: ??

I think the following means:

270 : airspeed in Km/hr
25000 : altitude in meter
38 : pitch angle
Arrow indicates 0.3: range to target 0.3km
A : one target locked up
PA: launch authorised
(4) at right lower corner: missiles available

not 100% certain though but most is correct afaik

25000 : altitude in meter >> wow, so its about 75000 ft!! sure?
A : one target locked up >> not sure.
PA: launch authorised >> i remember in Flanker, the symbol is "NP" in the middle of hud? for missile only?
(4) at right lower corner: missiles available

>> well, but its in gun mode, according to Flanker, 30mm round quantity should be there.

alright, will ask Ham later. Image

Yeah that altitude is not correct i guess Image
Didn't even check how much that would be in feet lol, i reckoned it was in meters because the Flanker has it's analog altimeter in meters iso feet and that went to 30.000 on the instrument.
Are you sure about the gunmode?
Btw, A could also mean autotrack mode on

Slightly off topic, but interesting nonetheless, I'm going to the "Petting Zoo" here at Nellis tomorrow. The ACTUAL name is their Threa Museum, but what else would you call a place with a Mig-29, Mig-23, an Mi-24...bunch o stuff. Check out this link....

www.nellis.af.mil/UNITS/547IS/TTF/TTF.htm

and to all those concerned...this is NOT some classified website.

It's not on this website, but there's a tank on base here with a Maverick mounted, sticking out the top of the tank. Cracks me up everytime I see it. THAT I think I'll take a picture of.
