hehe grab more panel arts from Microwing..most great artwork comes from Phil Image
F100, F104, A37, A1, A4?, B52, etc.
it will take a while to check their quality, then do tests.

BTW, news from simhq:
====================================
- There is a new utility available for WWII Fighters. The J3Editor allows the user to view and modify all of the game's object models, including planes, ground objects and terrain, in a 3D graphical modeling environment. The utility is freeware and is available for download from the Downloads section at http://ww2f.dogfighter.com.

A1 pit test: the scale is about right. the canopy frames could be too thin.

Just found more nice panels from "Mirages fro MSFS" site.

wonderful mirage panels: (too bad no mirage in f4 world yet, i'll DL some for visuals, btw, maybe Aeyes can use some photorealist parts from one of them)

http://www.flightsimmers.net/airbase/mirage/panels.html

And latest mirage2000 model in mdl format..drooling.
m2000 sounds also available.

hmm.. test result: the 800x600 bmp file for mirageIII/F1/Kfir could be too rough, though can be used as templetes.
the mirage2000-5 photorealistic panel is great, sharpening the image will do the job Image

ccc, you big tease!
re: A-1
Any thing is better than nothing, but from the pics i've seen, the pilot appears to sit pretty high in pit. Most 'pits i've seen take up too much screen space for my taste, but that's just a pet peeve- I'll fly em if y'all make em, and enjoy it too!

ya, big tease Image
hope we can import an A1 ASAP!
BTW, I got no idea about the view field while sitting in the pit..FOV too high? I'd like to find some good pics taken from pilots' eye-level, so we can decide what to inculde in the center view!

BTW, few more test sample(again "borrow" from MSFS free resources)

Mirage2000-5: ya, i know Aeyes' superb 2000c. this one comes from real photo(frame not included)..give you a sense of glass pit Image
Image
mirageIII pit: well..no good, but can be used for templete. the photo parts are blurred.
Image
Mirage F1: for templete only. short of details.

http://www.globalflightdeck.com/fs2000/pan_fighter.htm

hmm.. some pit arts look very nice, especiall the one with co-pilot of SAAB105, best for A6 or F111 pit!!

will try to get some files for test.

One more, J-8IIM mockup with Aeyes' phantom and fulcrum pits.
the pit layout info is extremely limited. my best quess is mig21 pit + some russian avonic upgrades.

two ways:
1.go to www.flightsim.com or search the site " Microwing", search their file library for microsoft flight simulator panel(cockpit) files.

2.list what you want from the pics i posted, mail you asap.

btw, what you want them for? FA? Image

note: you got to edit cockpit.dat files yourself to enable correct positions of all instrument!

http://www.alphasim.co.uk/

>> check their preview pages!

Beware: most pit art there are copyrighted!!!(ya, great template for further development)

The ones i converted and posted here are for fun, no public release (except for those grabed from Mircrowing MSFS resource libarary, which authorized by Phil.)

No joy on the F-84 Panel....

And where does this guy get off charging for these panels when most of them are already in shareware?

F84 pit itself is a real shot.
i got it from Microwing libarary.

hmm..CAG, if you want them for FA, you could dig lots out of Alpha sim site Image

i suppose some shareware pits were built before Phil joining Alpha sim and, you can find his latest pits use photo parts more skillfully, and looks more detailed in texture quality.

CCC,
Are we talking A-1 SkyRaider here, or was that a misprint and supposed to read A-10?
Once into all this 3-D thing, and I get good, my list of things is in the following order:
1. BLU-76
2. A-1 SkyRaider 3D model
3. A-1 SkyRaider cockpit
4. A-6 Intruder cockpit

ya, both A1 and A10 in this thread. no typo.
This thread contains various pits, only one A-1 pit. you can have it later, for evaluation.

if you want to do this pit and a/c, start collecting info now! we got an A-1 thread on Vietnam section.

Am about to start on a BUFF panel soon. :) Don't hold your breath though--I'll do this in my own time (kinda busy at office). Besides, I've just begun F4 panel work--wish me luck.
