1.I've kept searching typhoon pit for a while.
2.I've checked the tutorial about *.dat and played cockpitEd for some weeks.
3.After checking eFalcon pit, im afraid any new pit should be built in such detail, or simmers wont be happy...though, i still propose a two-stage-developement policy:
a. we have something.
b. we do it better and better.

4.these pics are used to evaluate their visual effect/scale of components..hope those ever sit inside could comment on the layouts.

I got Flanker2.
I mean to model russian avonics for falcon4!
Too bad SC owners and eTeam run out of time for this.

BTW, the typhoon pit shots look great. If you can find a straight shot of 10_12_c view, we can do a rough one for previewing, in minutes. Image
Honsetly, i found one a long while ago, but too small.

Hi CCC

Did you verify that these picts have been taken from someone *sitting* in the seat and not standing somewhere on the aircraft? I have the impression that on some of them (Su-35 especially), the angle down the HUD is to steep... just a question...

Basil,
Im very aware of this. so i select/tweak original pics for these samples.
Those not posted look worse. i'd better keep them in my junkbox.
Frankly i care that(FOV) so much, and had kept bothering Aeyes to modify his excellent phantom pit in the way i favor.
I also the one to propose using ALL photo pics to build 2D cockpit, if we can get somebody there. thus solve the doubt of FOV problem(though instrument reading will be a problem).

and last, Su35 pit is my favorite. most close to TRT Image

Whoops, CCC, yes, I meant Su-30. Su-35 looks very good of course Image I must admit I've never sat in a Suchoi pit at all, so I don't know how that actually looks Image

Basil,
Just found your new Su skins, Well done!
Though, you know we can append more textures as we wish, and we can easily re-map skin layout.
So, wanna try asymmetrical camo on Su? Image
Dunno if Re-mapped, asymmetrical camos will become the mainstream..if yes, skin makers got lots skin to revise Image Image
