Did my first testflight. Rivers all over the place, and they seemed very wet. But my first engagement with a Tu-22 flight with escort went well. Apart from the obvious fixes needed, some 3d objects appeared like fata morganas on runway when I landed, but caused no crash. Nice work so far, guys !

Congrats !

Oh I forgot

The campaign crash after playing bug.

Its related to the ground units, but since this crash bug does not limit the normal theater or falcon usage it was left in (the fixing requires total rework of the ground units script).

What it does is you can play/fly around normally in the three campaigns, but when you exit the campaigns and eventually exit falcon itself, at the closing falcon exe will crash.

Yeah its funny, it crashes at the last minute when you either way are closing the exe. No savegames or anything is lost by that way, it just simply gives you windows error before its completely closed. :)

This will be fixed when I get around to re-write the ground units scripts (lot of coordinates to write believe me).

threat circle option causes CTD, a known bug for all 128 theater.

Hi Snake man,
mine too crashes on exit after being on the campain, but if you switch back to another theartre then it will exit as normal with no crash.
Is there a problem with the bridges? all of mine seem to be slightly offset and at 90 degrees to the roads leading up to them.
Still great work guys :)

nice beta.

512 tile slightly lower my FPS. tile texture causes shimmering. i remember PW posted his desert tile test on Frugal, less shimmering in that case.

Tiles need more effort invested.

thanx for all your hard work!

I like the new beta, i did notice fps drops, and shimmering, but i found that to be a little more realistic in the desert. also are there that many rivers? there are tons of them. i dunno if the fps drop was related to the 512 tiles or Roberts new F-16 model which needs some nice skins. there is a hang on exit after campaign, i dont know if its related to the model as well.

I have a dedicated F4 Afghan Campaign server up. Its ran for 14 hours with no hangs. It is being used by others, funny thing is I haven't had time to jump in myself. I hope that this will generate some good feedback for you all. I'm running the the 3rd CA, it looked the busiest.

Thanks for all your great work!
