Hello fellow pilots!.......Chi Sao here, happy to be flying SP3, but sad to know I'm not flying in Afghanistan yet.....The Afghanistan page says they'll have Afghanistan ready when SP3 comes out.....Well, as you know, I'm still flying Korea ......Does anyone know when it or any other theatre will actually be released for SP3?......I've been like you all, waiting for the Balkan's as well.......It's hard to take, all this waiting if you're a hard-core F4 pilot as I. I've been flying the original since it's release, and am tired of Korea----please, can anyone let me know?.......It would be very appreciated.

Heck, other than Kandahar, Mazar-e-sharif, and Kabul, I didn't know they HAD any other airbases!

I know that it says on the Afghanistan page that "We will put out first public version of Afghanistan as soon as SP3 is out and we somehow make the textures + campaign to be at least somewhat enjoyable. It should not take too long after SP3 as we really want to fly this theater too."
But how is this going? (Any news about an possible release date?)

Its ready already, in BETA stage at least.

But as posted in the theater update message it uses same terrain textures as ODS so we don't want to release it now to have two theaters so close to each other with same looking terrain.

And no, I don't want to do any limited internal beta cycle this time.

So lets cut the bull and say when its going to be released? I honestly don't know. Best guess would be between Europe and Vietnam releases. And don't even ask when those get out

I've no idea what OOB it should have and where to find a skin pack for it.

How about we co-ordinate the Tile sets <G>

Yeah that sounds like good idea, no problems on my part.

Also I was thinking that we would use ODS Iranian tiles for Afghanistan east part where we have Iran. Then new tiles for the rest of the theater.
