A suggestion for the tiling

Post by Shadow502 » 2002-08-02 12:44:00

Hello

just a quick suggestion so the tiling does not look like a Korea bis : why not use the "Winter Tiles" that were once produced for Korea.
After all, the doctrine back in 85 was to believe the Russians would attack during winter, between Xmass and 1st January, to catch us off-guard.
just my .2 € :D

Why not simply ask the "Shatter of Worlds", a.k.a. Paul Wilson, for his summer and winter tiles for EAW for Europe....

Joeri, do you have any converted bmps for preview?

i resize previous reek.zip to 128x128 these days, try to see if we can use "parts" of those gfx for new tiles.

Joeri, those bmps look great. first two or three could be used to replace default korea tiles. the village tiles, will need further tweak. the matching point of f4 tile is midpoint of each side, while FS tiles' off this point.
