Weapons-F-16 upgrade

Post by WolfPack » 2003-02-09 18:55:00

In case anyone is interested. A company called EDO is working on an ejector rack that will hold 2 smart weapons each. It's called the BRU-57. It would be nice to have. www.EDOcorp.com

Is the USAF already operating with these new TER/MERs?

yeah, the USAF stressed the usage of those racks, so all CJ CCIPs use them now, as for the CFT's, yeah they only hold 450 gallons of fuel, about 3050lbs, which isnt too bad.

I hate to say this, but that pic of the CFTs looks faked..

Or is it just that the CFT add on isnt skinned? Nah it looks "touched up"...

Part of the problem is also that the split plane on them is a little off. The tank is being drawn in front of everything else on the fuselage.

yeah, the location of the CFT's was too low, and too far forward, i corrected it once before, but i think i'll have to do it again, not sure.

That we would be a nice addition, increasing the capabilities of the F-16 if it is used in real life, and also increasing its range significantly. BTW where can i get this upgrade??
