Got a question. In SP3 can you assign different functions to HOTAS while in setup/controllers? I cannot assign per SuperPak3 manual, (HOTAS SETUP) or the original Falcon4.0 Sq. Ldr Manual, page 16-14.

Falcon does not recognize the shift function on the X-45 in the setup screen......you need to program your functions and then load your profile before starting Falcon.

I have been using the X-36f/35T set up with HAZARD SCRIPT. Works great.The Saitek had to many probs. And the support was nill. I suggest you delete all Saitek and trry Hazared. I have been able too use X36 and X45 setups. I dont know if it goes the other way around.
The Rotary knobs dont work in Falcon, but they do in FS2002 and CFS2. Go figure.
In Falcon I dont need them. I have killed my share of Thrustmasters.
