Thank you, Sherlock!

I certainly don't want to contribute Frugal's "tradition" to this Forum. We just were a group of people at FreeFalcon obviously
interested in the Operation Desert Storm theatre and started focussing on that topic.
Seems I have already said enough..I will read a lot more before daring to post again.

Carry on, gentlemen!

Hello everyone, I wondered if this scenario was stopped or something is being done to update it.

PMC Desert Storm theater is not stopped. It is fully alive and in development.

There is no development updates since the last release.

Thank you very much for asking, I'll surely post when there is some news regarding this theater.

I have a tweaked savex.cam and savex.tri for FF5.5. They need to be playtested more. Maybe I can post them up and SM can see if they're worth incorporating into the next release?

I tried creating some new junctions and linking them so that GU's would move more aggressively.

Also, I tweaked the .tri to allow for an attrition victory, which (IMO) is a better fit for this campaign. Model the first 30 days of the air war, where the requirement to start the ground war was a certain attrition level of the Iraqi ground units and infrastructure.

I don't know if it works; I haven't playtested it hardly at all. It "should" work.

Does that mean the ground war doesn't start until you reach a certain point, or that you win by air attacks alone and the need to capture ground objectives is removed?

There is no such feature in F4 engine, when hostilities begin, ground units start to move, you can't make them hold back. You can fake it with adding them in as reinforcements later, but that's not really a solution.
