User Interface - Red Viper / FreeFalcon

User Interface (UI) - Red Viper / FreeFalcon (RV).

In the v0.512 release there is the existing graphics in the art\desstorm1 - 3 directories. Those rsc files could be used as source to greate the UI for RV.

I'm mainly looking now hassle, no fancy stuff, just plain basic working UI with the instant action, campaign squadron selection maps and campaign selection buttons as well as the intel news blips maps nicely setup. I think for the default RV UI with the demonic colors of RED are not fitting well, the ODS colors could be changed, I'm okay with that.

Does anyone care to take upon working on ODS UI for RV?

NightFalcon at FF was talking about reworking the RV UI also, so I directed him to this thread, too. :)

hehehe

Well, ODS deserves a dedicated ODS scheme. :D

I'm aware that the red scheme has been met with some... criticism... in the community. ;) :D

All kidding aside, does any of the SCF files work what we have right now for 128 theaters or are they all thrown outta window when the new red UI was created?

I dont need new graphics, even the backbone of SCF / etc files would be nice to have. We can tweak the graphics later.

I think they work. Since the RV one uses Nodo's setup, which has some stuff in a slightly different place, I'm not sure how they would interact. I *think* that since the irc and lst files have all the references as relative to the f4root directory, that they should all work.
