512 texture prob over north east area of theater

OK here are some screenies about the prob strker also encountered. Suddenly over certain areas or from a certain point on (didnt figure out any pattern) all i get is desert sometimes low res tiles with huge square sea areas flipping around from 1 sec to another...:

Just did a quick test
I can only reproduce it yet when I am flying off the map boundaries.

can you check that for me?
and then check if you can reproduce it at point of wich you are certain you are NOT off the map.

Use CTRL-Z L next time se we can see the coordinates of where you are flying.

Yep, just (finally) got all installed last night, quick run / check on all theaters, campaigns, instant action, so on for any obvious "bad" installtion "CTD's". Got none :) . Only "bad" is I get a purple "nose cone" on the Viper with night vision turned on (orbit view) but I have "Icehands" Hi-Res "Skin Pack" installed, prolly that.

Did a quick (very quick) tour of the N/E, did not see any of the reported "dark grey tiles", what location / grid ref were you at KG, Striker? And altitude? (z value?)

More detailed tests to follow if you can supply the locations, want to get into the camps. by weekend ...

hmm this time i flew inside the map border along a flight plan and didnt encounter any probs over iran till i was shortly below the black sea (semnan airbase) as i got a error that Terrtex.cpp couldnt be opened. But the simulation continued to run fine. Over the sea i changed my course to west and accelerated to 32x till all went white and no more sea tiles were drawn at the edge of viewing distance :o
