Balkans load problems-Help!

I downloaded the Balkans theatre and installed it. When it neared the end, it stated it couldn't find a file. Sorry, don't remember which one. Too shocked and stupid to write it down. Now when I load F4, all I get at the main screen is the mouse cursor. Please tell me I don't have to re-install all of this. Can someone help?
