Hi all,
I'm a member off the F4Spain.
The TACAN data are found in the stations.dat (C:/Falcon4.0/campaign/mytheater/)...
Well,
What is what?, in e.g:
# Kimpo - ex Kimpo (Gimpo)
276 083 X 14 25 1 109.9
---------------------------
-#: Name of the airbase
-276: ID of the airbase
-083 X: TACAN channel
-14: ?
---------------------------
And the Tanker TACAN?
And the file Simdata.zip? Play it any part?
Excuse me my English...
Cheers,
Joe Labrada

- 14 (ID2 of objective - used to link to the correct speech fragment for the airbase)
- 25 - TACAN Range (Nm)
- 1 - Emmitter Type (always 1)
- 109.9 - ILS frequency
Those are off the top of my head though. Red Dog will hopefully correct this if I am wrong. You should get in contact with him anyway as he maintains a spreadsheet for this stuff.
Tanker TACAN is allocated dynamically in the Y band, so you don't need to worry about it. Simdata.zip is not used for TACAN.

Re: TACAN: What is what in the stations.dat?
Sorry - the 14 is not ID2 at all. It is a sequential no. that you choose for each airbase and that is linked to the CampID via this stations.dat file.
Due to the way that the voice system works and there are three speech frags for eaxh airbase ("Kimpo", "Kimpo Tower" and "Kimpo Approach"), this sequential no. must be allocated in bands:
0 - 45
92 - 137
184 - 229
These are the Approach frags, and to get the corresponding Tower frag, Falcon adds 46 to the Approach no., which is why they must be allocated in these bands. (There were originally 46 bases in the game and then they added Kadena pretty late on).
Red Dog's spreadsheet just maintains the data required for Falcon (and some other stuff) for each of the theaters and can generate the stations.dat file for the data supplied.

Re: TACAN: What is what in the stations.dat?
Hi Joe,
If you need help for all the navigation stuff for your terrain, don't hesitate to ask.
I can do the stations.dat for you as well as the kneemap, Awacs map, airbase orientation,
All I need is a list of airbase if you have one already and maybe a good map of the terrain.
Don't hesitate to contact me.
Red Dog
