Slopes and edges

Post by Guest » 2000-10-24 01:33:00

Hello guys.
I am involved in a terrain making team in which we are faced with a serious problem.
The landscapes we are trying to build have
very steep, sometimes even vertical mountain
and rock edges and of course we cannot achieve the effect. I asume it is beceause of
the way the elevation data is handled by F4
and because Korea does not have this type of
land formation.
Is there anything that can be done?

Thanks,
Morfeas

Sorry guys but I can't really tell you now
as we have decided to make a formal announcement when we have something more
concrete.
So far we have millions of problems including finding photos and satelite images, making many new tiles, new 3D objects, dealing with special geological
formation, etc.

Come on Man, share us some secrets :))
maybe someone here can help you or point you at the right direction.

BTW, did you all theate-makers note recent progress in 3d modeling? check Julian's page:
