Thought I'd start a bug list so you guys can see everything in one thread.

I get an error message when I put crew into an empty helicopter (UH-1H in this case). The message reads something like, user == gunner etc. Something like that.

Another bug, or not, is with the LSSC. When my team disembarks, they just stand around in the boat. A nice touch, until you tell them to join you on the shore. They can't get out and report negative for ages.

Is there a way to make sure that unit's faces are the same every time the mission loads? If I want to have named characters in a mission, I need the faces to be consistant. Right now I can't.

Is there a full, weapons and ammo list, which includes tanks, choppers, boats etc?

I guess its good time to list the know bugs now:

Known Bugs of VTE v0.3 today at 11-25-06:

--- bugs
- The texture of the body disappears in the Air Cav Downed Pilot when damage is 0.7 or more.
- NVA Ammo Truck -> Ammunition cannot be replenished.
- NVA Repair Truck -> It doesn't function.
- can AI see through SEB forest _Var1-3 objects?
- add voice bin/config.cpp feature for ...
- any chance in the future the models for the following might be replaced with the new models from the Tonal Redux: RPD, AKM/AK47, SKS, Mosin Nagant?
- consider replacing things such as the mosin sniper and k98 with the lib ones
- research if CH-53 had doorguns in real life? 7,62mm MGs, Globalsecurity.org says 3 miniguns for SAR duty.
- typo of french gun; Chatellerault LMG, our naming is wrong I think?
- AAO missed config update
- MDSZ missed the wrp update, which means grass, etc, is all over the roads.
- SOund of V150 commando machinegun is old BIs.
- Issue with M551 muzzle flash : a part of the mg muzzle dont move with the turret (when i fire let's say on the left a part of the muzzle still appear as i fire straight in front)
- Issue with M24 chaffee : the gun barrel model don't move with the turret : the shot is moving well but the barrell is still in front of the tank

--- mission bugs
THE NAM campaign
- welcome to nam - data3d/something_plot not found (magic)  
- operation starlight - intro got stuck in "chopper rotor view"
- end animation - data3d/something_plot not found (magic)

Vietnam 1954 campaign
- intro - gets stuck in the scene where one of the sf guys goes to check the truck (he just keeps checking)
- intruders - after insertion you get an error when the chopper needs to refuel and another with the next message  
- nightfall - after the mission finished the game jumped to main menu and no end briefing, second time it worked but displayed all end briefing texts.
- exchange - the intro gets stuck when the executioner shoots all his clips over the head of the victim  
AI soldiers start firing at the arriving car making the mission fail every time. (can't get past this one)

Sector Charlie campaign
- welcome to ia drang - 'sound radioloops not found' when chopper hit
- pleibai moring patrol - 'cannot load mission, missing addon srk_vehl'
- village patrol - music vte_purplehaze not found
- river patrol - you start in a chopper instead of boat, everyone's parachuted into water and die (so you can't even play the mission)

- PMCNAM1965; airstrike.sqs onmapsingleclick is not {}'ed. no double check for 2 sqs running.
- PMCNAM1965; under pressure, reinf helo sqs wont work.
- PMCNAM1965; The second mission never finished, presumably because of a single enemy inside a huge trigger.

Perhaps something else I've missed.

I assume you place empty helo and crew, then on crew's init line you do; this moveindriver heloname; right?

You'll have to await Ebud's answer for this, because I dont know.
If I want to have named characters in a mission, I need the faces to be consistant. Right now I can't.
If I recall, only the already camo'ed faces cannot be changed, all others can. Thats what I remember Ebud telling the last time this was mentioned.

Well there only is whats included in the v0.3 release. I'll try to update it perhaps before v0.4 but at least for that. Is there any specific classnames you need right now?

Also, its pretty darn full even now but yeah I think some maybe the boats are missing. :)

I think you guys know about the no model special with LAW units.

Some of the objects I place in the editor jump around constantly if hit by something. Village bench and baskets come to mind. Can be quite a hog if there are a few around dancing.

Yeah that fixed the bug. I thought I had the new JAM but didn't.

Have you guys fixed that bug with the faces yet? A lot of my guys look like freaks because their ears are on their hands etc.

Install your mod. That's all I did.

If it's just a problem with my install, then don't worry. I'll just carry on buildingsafe in the knowledge that nobody else will have the problem.

I placed your East anti tank gun with a gunner (moveingunner) and then later on I deletevehicled it and the gunner.

I got a big error message. No adverse effects other than that.

On another note. Are you guys gonna release an update?

Are you guys gonna release an update?
Yes I've been thinking about a patch update since there are few noticeable clitches like the few tank turrets broken and then we have some new models coming in.

And before anyone even thinks about asking; no, no release dates, nothing has been done directly to the patch yet. Keep on reporting those bugs or issues you see, thats the best course of action to make the upcoming patch better.
