I don't know anything about the GBU's. By the time they showed up I was down in the Delta. Our job was convoy cover for the river convoys trying to get up the Mekong to Phoem Penh.

GP Bomb trivia:

M-xx designators are for bombs produced prior to 1960. These are referred to as FAT bombs.

MK-xx series bombs produced after 1960 were low drags. This areo design produce less drag resulting in greatly improved a/c performance.
