Your 5 minute loading time is fine. If a mission maker makes a good mission a pilot should be cranking up and flying a little ways before he gets into enemy territory anyway. Also, how many good missions are you going to have where the player is a fixed wing pilot? The Arma maps are only just big en...

Rahmadi is ripe for the editing

I have a great idea for you guys. I've been looking around Rahmadi and in the buildings.pbo and I reckon that after a few changes to the textures of the buildings I could create a little Nam island. I have loads of photos that I could use as reference and make the current building look more like Nam...

I'm not sure about the B52 as a first release addon. It'll really only be used in cutscenes. Focus could probably be better spent on getting other stuff out first. Here are some thoughts. Air Bell 47 (H-13). At one point there were more of these in Vietnam than Hueys. OH6 LOH. A shoe-in. A-37 Dragon...

I placed your East anti tank gun with a gunner (moveingunner) and then later on I deletevehicled it and the gunner.

I got a big error message. No adverse effects other than that.

On another note. Are you guys gonna release an update?

If it's just a problem with my install, then don't worry. I'll just carry on buildingsafe in the knowledge that nobody else will have the problem.

Bingo! Got it.

You might find this useful.

In Sebnam, you could have HD mags or non HD mags. The non, had n after the mag bit.

This is what was causing me trouble. Your package has just searched for the normal mag classname, not the magn class.

Cheers Snake.

Just leaned that the chicom or whatever it is the SKS thing, it was really rare and a lot of people in theater treated it like the Vietnam war's Luger. I think you guys know about the no model special with LAW units.

Some of the objects I place in the editor jump around constantly if hit by something. Village bench and baskets come to mind. Can be quite a hog if there are a few around dancing.

I take it back I don't know what I was thinking there. I've had a pretty good look through the East stuff and a few things spring to mind. I couldn't find any mines. Did you include the CoC mines from the nampack? The sounds for the VC alert etc seem too quiet. How about adding the MDX Vietkong? His...

Yeah those ROKs as they were called, certainly were hard. I heard of a story where a US base was getting hit bymortars and they sent the ROKs out to sort it out. Not long after, the mortars stopped and a while after that the ROKs came back carrying the heads of some VC and a mortar tube. How about m...

I would seriously like to see US soldiers with Ponchos. Seeing as there is a friggin Monsoon season and that fact that it rains over there a helluva lot, I'm surprised you didn't do this already. It's half their uniform. :o

The textures would have to be a little glossy so they look wet.
