Re: How to change the number of seats in a flight by TacEdit
Roster numbers define the number of vehicles contained in each slot. There are 16 slots (0-15) and it is possible to have up to 3 vehicles per slot. I know of no way to tell the ATO how many aircraft are in a flight.

Re: Adding squads to a campaign and reinf
Naval Units are an exception to almost every rule. They exist but there is very little code written to support them. IMO you guys need to quit playing with the Navy. They always have supply, they go no where, there is no Tasking Manager assigning them, to get things to fly off of them you have to tr...

Re: Adding squads to a campaign and reinf
The range field in the UCD file determines the max range the unit can move with full supply. The valid numbers are 0 -999 and is in kilometers. Ammo for GU's is resupplied every 60 minute campaign cycle and it doesn't come from anywhere. You mention the number 255 when referring to ammo, that number...

Ed,
I think your correct. I thought about this today and looked at a few things, but didn't see a way to make it work. The overall killer is, as you mentioned, the hard coding that exist for so many things.

All of this is based on CT numbers, you would need to make ships ground units via their CT. I doubt this will work, but I'll think about it for the next few days. I think your over reaching, but sometimes Falcon surprises you.

Maybe I wasn't clear. There is no new texture.zip, FreeFalcon doesn't need or use it. The texture.bin is of course used, but each theater will start to need its own as ours will be changing. This error is my fault. FreeFalcon does not use nor require the texture.zip file in order to run. I have restored the file to my installer, so our next upgrade, comin...

Re: FF5.5 Tiger Spirit campaign test - Winnable.
I was thinking of a better way to explain this. You refer to a HQ unit, the code see's 3-6-1-6-1. That number in our database is a land, unit, battalion, tracked_HQ, specific #1 (HQ M2A2 BCV). Contained within that Unit are vehicles like: 3-7-3-3-6, or a land, vehicle, tracked, tracked_armor, specif...

Only Armor can capture an objective. There is no ground war AI. There is the Ground Tasking Manager. 2 Trucks won't meet the 'minimum viable level'. Of course..the code does not weight the result based on Team color. If you build Campaigns that work and you fly on the Red side, you can win. The FF5.5 terrdata/ database is not what we have in our Campaigns. The database in the Campaigns folder is tailored to meet the needs of that particular Campaign. You have control of SAM's moving or not in F4Browse. In the Units record there is the 'move type' field. Any Unit with a move type of 0 (zero) will not move. The other move types are: 1=Foot, 2=Wheeled, 3=Tracked, 4=Low Air, 5=Air, 6=Naval, 7=Rail. If you wish to have a SAM Unit that moves, and 1 th...

There is nothing wrong with the FF5.5 mission.dat file, if that is what you are trying to say. The P-3 is an ASW aircraft..that means Anti Submarine Warfare,...

Zero is not a bad number. All of the Objectives in FF5.5 were exported, adjusted and imported. The code would not read an 'empty cell', that cell would be read as 0 or -1.
