Re: Mission descriptions / overview
I think I have readme's that I'd like to see inlcuded for my missions, Greenies, Green Hell, Indian Country, Valley of Death and Last Stand. Mercyful Fate is also made by me, but that version is unfortunately not supported by me in any way, since it's an very early alpha version. For the single play...

Re: Bit of help please
As far as I know, OFP loads files to memory at startup, so the RAM is a possibility for the crash.

Re: Soldiers skills / camouflage etc (config.cpp)
I don't know it for a fact, I would have to test it out. :) Though I remember reading somewhere that it was the amount of noise a unit will make, so that you can creep up to enemy units. Still, I can't say for sure, it needs more testing. If anyone else knows sth about the command, post. its somethi...

Re: Soldiers skills / camouflage etc (config.cpp)
I think it's like this, Default OFP values for civ and regular forces; accuracy=0.250000; sensitivityEar=0.130000; sensitivity=1; accuracy should be self explanatory, sensitivityEar is the value that determines how well the AI can hear other units (I think). Not sure about sensitivity, but I found t...

Re: Jefferson Airplane or Buffalo Springfield?
On the two sites I checked it was -66... Ah well that's not a big thing. If the classname is changed, then all missions that currently use that track won't play it anymore, so is it really that important? As long as the name is correct in the list, it's fine by me.

Re: VTE Open Beta 11-03-05
Why don't you use the US guys that are provided, and use the setobjecttexture on them. For ecample you can try: this setobjecttexture [0,"VTE_unitsp101st.paa"] this setobjecttexture [0,"VTE_unitsp25thInf.paa"] this setobjecttexture [0,"VTE_unitsp25thInfSub.paa"] this setobjecttexture [0,"VTE_unitspc...

Re: VTE Open Beta 11-03-05
Not sure if I'd be able to do it, but if I would do it, I'd remake the whole thing, maybe even from ground up, new terrain and such, maybe using DEM's. Place forests with triple canopy jungle and some, more open areas of bamboo thickets, villages inside forests, rice paddies, more detailed LZ's... T...

Re: VTE Open Beta 11-03-05
I'd remake the whole island while I'd be at it. It's dated, and there's so many things that should be done to it to make it fit the current islands we have, that it's just better to remake it.

Might be, can't be sure. I think wrp placed objects are handeled differently to mission editor placed objects... SM can confirm this.

An O2 problem me thinks, just need to set the named properties in geo to non-destructable, or by setting the same line in the config.

Re: VTE Open Beta 11-03-05
If you get the ak47 error right at the start, I guess there's some unit or config looking for that entry and is unable to find it. It does seem that you're the only one having this problem. You're only running the VTE mod and nothing else that might require sebnam addons?

Re: VTE Open Beta 11-03-05
This is a long shot, but try placing the data3d.pbo in the vte mod folder, in the same folder where it is in the original game. Not sure if that will help though, but it's worth a shot.

Re: Some other things to add
Polish_GI is right, the French fought the so called First Indochina war in 1946-54 IIRC.
Here's some links about it:

Re: SEAL Team campaign manuscript
Very nice information here. Cap, I've been dying to try out your SEAL campaign for years now. I would be very happy if you made that test mission you talked about to see how it all would work in-game. :) So I say go for it. I was once making a similiar thing for SF/SOG troops. It didn't get far, as ...

Re: M-60 & RPD MGs
Good stuff mate!
Yep, the 3 100rd mags for the M60 sound fair enough. An assistant MG gunner could also be cool, who would carry more of the ammo. I think in I44 they made something like that. Worth looking into. Thanks again for the info!

Yep, I've been thinking of the same thing. Do you have the site from where you got the information in hand? Would love to read it myself too. How about the M60? Same thing with the belt fed and drum mags? This is a good find made! I'm sure we'll look into it. :) EDIT: Oh, and there is a RDP which ha...

Re: missing files? And weapons accuracy
We've been talking about adding the option to choose eithe HD or non-HD, which would mean more classnames to the units list, and more groups. We might consider it, and we might add it. Time will tell.

Sounds very good. I have a hunch that this is the 50 mission campaign that STT mentioned in the OFPEC forums? COrrect me if I'm wrong, but if this is the case, then it's awesome.
