I want to report a problem I encountered a few times recently.
When saving a map, WrpTool sometimes saves until some percentage and then suddenly stops responding (of course always then when you have not a backup available)
It can't be reproduced, in most times it saves without problems then the next time I save the map and dang it hangs while saving.
Needless to say that then the map is corrupted and all the work is gone.
Haven't seen a post about this here yet, but it's hard to believe I am the only one.
Maybe in one of the next versions, could there be an autobackup function?
Also another thing I noticed, WrpTool doesn't switch to the current directory when saving maps.
An example: I work on two maps, Alpha.wrp and Bravo.wrp. I first open Alpha, work on it and save it. Then I open Bravo, work on it and when I want to save it, it saves Bravo Map as the Alpha.wrp in the Alpha folder.

Re: WrpTool crashing while saving
What kind of hardware and what windows version are you running?
What addons / textures do you use in your island?
What size of island?
So far in my WrpTool time I have never had it crash on save.

Re: WrpTool crashing while saving
Hardware is a AthlonXP 3000+, Geforce FX5900 XT and 1024MB RAM.
The Island is a retextured Everon with Nogova textures and objects with objects count slightly increased.
Overall nothing WrpTool or the system can't handle. But that crash occured several times during the year now, on smaller islands as well as 512 ones.
