OK I thought I would stat a new thread because I cannot find the answer anywhere. I have correctly done preliminary measures to make sure I can preview the image in WRPTool and I have added the .p3ds to the DTA/Data3d directory and rePBOd them, however when I save the the .wrp and open the game when the map loads it tells me Data3D/erba1.pbo cannot open object. Erba1.pbo is one of several p3ds that came in the Grass addon. The REAL LOD feature shows it in the Map Editor but it won't load it in game. Do I need to change it to ODOL format and if so how? Thanks.

Re: Data3D/xxx.pbo Cannot open object...
Are you saying that you DePBO'd the Data3d.pbo, added some p3d's and then pbo'd it back up again?
Oh dear.
Where did you put the config.cpp for these extra p3d's?
If I misunderstood you, then just ignore me.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was beating the sh*t outta myself trying to figure it out. Do i put the config.cpp in the Data3D folder and pack it up? I didn't see another config in the Data3d folder so I didn't even think about that.

Oh no, just keep the Erba1.pbo addon as separate, dont add stuff from it to the original OFP data3d addon/dir.

Re: Data3D/xxx.pbo Cannot open object...
OK I think I have it totally mixed up
Erba.pbo
erba1.p3d
erba2.p3d
erba.p3d
These are a few of the custom p3ds I want to put in my map.
I have no problem putting them on my map but when I open the game it tells me 'Data3d/erba2.p3d Cannot Open Object.
I thought simply placing the p3d in the Unpbo'd folder of Data3d would solve the problem...WRONG! Same error. Where do I put this thing if not where it says it is missing from?
My OFP Data3d directory is 'C:/Program Files/Operation Flashpoint/DTA/Data3d'
So where do I put these p3d's?
Do I leave the Erba.pbo in the addon directory?
Do I need to make/add to a config file?
Do I make an erba folder in the DTA folder?
Any responses at this point will be relief, Thanks in advance.

Re: Data3D/xxx.pbo Cannot open object...DTA folder
OK I've got it
1) Keep the PBO in your addons directory
2) Have a DePBOd addon in your DTA folder
Problem solved. Thanks guys.
