PboX v1.0 has been released!
PboX is utility to unpack and pack pbo files. You can view inside the pbo without opening it, you can view p3d files, config.cpp files and textures for example. Both ODOL and MLOD p3d's are displayed in 3d preview view. PboX runs with standard "WrpTool" DLL's, which can be found either on WrpTool or ODOL Explorer releases.
Browse pbo's, view models inside...
Remember to read the readme for additional instructions.
If you have any problems, contact us on WrpTool forum where we will try to help anyone with questions.
Download PboX v1.0 - 526kb.

Re: PboX v1.0 has been released!
Thank you for this tool,
But i have to report some errors occuring with it.
I use the 2 needed dll files from ODOL Explorer , that i just downloaded from your website (so i imagine it is the latest version of it)
When i launch PboX , i have those 2 error poping up just after.
Then after closing those errors warnings, the program launch , and after that the splash screen (with the "loading please wait") never close (until i close PboX).
But while the program is running , it is doing its job very well and works perfectly despite that 2 errors and the everlasting splash screen , i tested PboX on some pbo and i am very interested by what i saw, speed , preview, those features are working very well.
If it can help to locate the error source, i have a Window ME as an OS (maybe one of those case of program for XP that pop up errors in 9x/ ME ? ).

Re: PboX v1.0 has been released!
This wasn't mentioned in the readme, but these are also the same DLL's used in WRPtool. They are known to be unstable on 9x and ME and thus unsupported on that OS. The memory manager in NT systems including NT, 2K, and XP is totally different and much more robust.

Cannot start because can't find: BORLNDMM.DLL. Anything on this?

Unfortunate for me, but thanks for the precision. This wasn't mentioned in the readme, but these are also the same DLL's used in WRPtool. So i take it as a pleasant bonus that this tool is working very well on my unsupported OS despite the errors at the program startup
I like this program more and more actually, speeding up a lot the process of my personnal unit replacements work in a config.cpp, thanks again for releasing it.

Very nice.. Only one small thing.. the ability to exclude certain file types such as .gif, .tga etc that accumulate in the addon folder during the addon creation process would be a very nice addition.
Re: PboX v1.0 has been released!
Like said on the news post, readme and in the forum already. It requires the WrpTool DLL's which can be found on WrpTool or ODOL Explorer release packets.Cannot start because can't find: BORLNDMM.DLL. Anything on this?

Anyone know if you can zoom in and out in 3-d viewer? some models are zoomed in too close....while others are too far out....

Re: PboX v1.0 has been released!
Ah damned I forgot those from the readme! good catch.
Right Mouse Button (RMB) moves up, down, left and right the model in 3d preview view.
Left Mouse Button (LMB) rotates the model in 3d preview view.
Shift-LMB rotates the model but locks the umm...umm what axis is that, I dont know how to explain.
CTRL-LMB mouse forward/backward will zoom and unzoom the model in 3d preview view.
Gotta add that to the manual, hey shinRaiden, what axis is it approprietaly called what the shift-lmb locks/rotates?

Relative to the viewer or the model?
x-axis - Pitch is nose up/down
z-axis - Roll is lean left/right
y-axis - Yaw is flat tuning left/right
