another landing test..well destoryer type helo pad is much much smaller.. i slightly extend the invisible hitbox to help landing.. even so, it needs more practice to stop at the circle area.

NONE of these theaters have reached "DB-editing stage", so why are you showing us half finished models that will never be used? i really love them but i do not get the point.ccc wrote:Falkland theater has not reached DB-editing stage, no hurry for Atlantic conveyer.

Hey Stef,
CCC is and was always open for other guys finishing his work and bring it into DB.
Check FF5 IL-76, AN-24, CN-235, Kawasaki C1, Mitsubishi F-1, Z-9 and Bo-105 choppers, Spoon-Rest and Thin-Skin radars, etc...
Cheers

you are right, but i do not have the time & skills to work on the 3D stuff too. i have already enough on my plate with, Campaign creation, working on the Data DB, hunting terrain bugs, and keep everything going where it should.
i just wanted to light up that it would be more efficent if we all would work together a bit more...
As we know CCC has everything in his 3D model warehouse, all very interesting, but way too much to work with all of them.
So my thought was that we should talk, which of these models are of real interest and could be used in some developments which are going on at the moment.
for the FF side, i'm talking about 3D models for: Panama, Europe, Balkans & Taiwan.
after we have decided for "some" of these models, we can narrow down the efforts on them, AND we will finally have some of these great models fully working and flying some time...
AFAIK, the only guys who "really" know how to get that stuff into DB are: Ranger, BaldEagle, CCC & Bikey.... so.......
Gents, lets find out what we really need, pick them and let's do it!
@ CCC: mate, i never want to say anything about your work, i just wanted to mention, if we coordinate, this stuff can really get airborne, you know!
But we have to put our forces together...
just my 2 cents...

I have to agree. So far - in the lastest years here - I have seen many unused 3D stuff for ground units too. Missing SAM radars for red side and vehicles that can be used for simulating the relocation of SA-2/3 systems (+ K-30 BIHO 3D model.)
Core 2 Duo E7300, Gigabyte EP43, 4 GB RAM (1066MHz), Shappire Radeon HD4850 1GB
