Why would it be a fake? If you read Air Forces Monthly for example, you'd notice a slow increase in photo's of chinese developed aircraft. In the last bunch of issues there were quite a few photographs on the J-8 and J-7. All these development aircraft share the exact same paintjob, and the J-8 looks nothing like a MiG-21, yet it *is* based on the MiG-21.

though many chinese a/c revealed in past years, this one, J10, still the most guarded secret there.
Obviously the pic is a fake, why?
1. chinese military fans like to post modified pics of Lavi in recent years. I think you can find one Lavi shot in the same pose years ago.
2. chinese test a/c use three digits code on nose, its only 3 digits.
3. PLAAF used to paint nationality mark on vertical stablizer. check J7/8. only J5/6 on fuselage. Besides, the mark is not well aligned.
