hi snake-man
Think I figured out a simple solution concerning the problem not to be
able to get any flights out of the thai-airfields.
All you have to do is to edit all thai-airfields with tacedit.
- open the "safe0.cam" with tace-edit (in campaign/safe)
- go to the map
- open the info-sheet about one thai-airfield, where you have
us-squadrons staitioned (lets start with nakon-sakon, NOW CHANGE
THE OWNER AND THE CONTROLer- TO -> US. And safe that. Now
you do exactly the same with all other thai-airfields, they should
change their colour on the map. Save everithing as "save0.cam" and
you're all set.
By the way, ---- thanks for your great work --- I'm a
vietnam-phantom-driver (serious addicted) since steven coonts "flight
of the intruder" way back on my old atari. Now I like to fly with your
falcon4-add on so much, that I really own you one.

Doh! was that it? oh my stupid ass again. I thought it would be cool and correct to keep the airbases under Thailand ownership, I guess it was wrong. Well thank you for giving me this tip.quote:Originally posted by dharry:

Tacedit is a powerful tool, but very few people know how to use it, thanks.

my 2c about a f105: ask Macfalconer Dragon. if he can priotize this one, modifying mig21 into a rough f105, then you can enjoy it in very near future

It would be better if he could mod something else. You really need the Mig 21 for the theater. How about the F-5?

na, LOD files can be extracted, duplicated, modified, then inserted back.
take a closer look at Dragon's J-8 shape, dont you think its easier to model it for thud?

I don't know what for the modelling of a new plane is more important, the look or the basic flightperformance;-----(which part can be easier changed).
But when it comes to the performance, it will have to be a fast, rough and big plane, which can carry a lot of ammo. So a F5e seems to be a little too "cute", you know more like a female compact-car for your wife (!!)
